 Here are the topics for the first essay test on October 8th.  

1.  To what extent was taxation issue behind the American Revolution?

2.  Evaluate two historiography theories of the causation of the American Revolution.

3.  Why was the American effort during the Revolution successful and the British effort less successful?

First Quiz of 2012-2014

Here is the list of items that will be on the quiz.

1. Know the big five schools of history and some distinguishing characteristics. (Traditional, Progressive, Neo-Conservative, New Left, and New Social)

2. Definition of History

3. Social, Economic, Political, and Military history-What events fall under each category.

4. Examine a reading in history and identifying which of the big five schools of history it comes from.

5. Respond to a history quotation using your knowledge from the various reading packets and discussions.
